About Us...
We are a group of
artists and people
who love the arts.
We have come
together to kindle creative energies, support artistic
endeavors and enrich
the community through promotion of the arts.
Each year we make an award possible
for an
Amityville Memorial High School senior based solely on artistic talent.
We collaborated on a mural
"From Salt Hay to Modern Day"
installed in the Community Room of the
Amityville Public Library,
through a grant
by the New York State Council of the Arts.
We collaborated on a series of murals
for Children's Department of the
Amityville Public Library, made
possible by a donation from the late
Don Boyd.
Each
October we hold an Open Studio Tour
featuring the work of member artists in their Studios.
We
meet monthly on the second Tuesday, at the
Methodist Church,
25 Broadway Amityville at 7pm.
We are presently working on expanding our
membership.
We invite all artists of music, creative writing,
dance, theatre and
the fine arts to come and join
us in our goals to create a Cultural Center in Amityville.
We also invite anyone to help support our
endeavor by being a friend
to the Amityville
Artist Circle by monetary donations to help
us succeed in our hopes and dreams.
We look forward to meeting you on the second Tuesday of the month.
Have any questions, our telephone numbers are at the top &
