Dear Artist:

We are happy to announce that the Village has approved our use of the Nautical Park on Merrick Road at Ocean Avenue for a major outdoor exhibit/sale, “Arts in the Park” on May 17, 2008, from 10AM to 4PM.

Artists are invited to exhibit original artwork, prints, giclees, photography and sculpture in this unique Bay Village art event. Spaces allotted will be 10’ x 12’. The fee is $40 for  members, and $60 for non-members. Spaces may be shared and artists will need to supply any necessary tables, grids etc. It is required that all work be for sale.

Just a “heads up” in planning for the day.

Ø      Drop off on the May 17 will begin at 7AM

Ø      As this is a major fundraiser for AAC, each artist is encouraged to donate an original work of art to be auctioned to benefit the Circle’s building fund.

Ø      Volunteers will be needed to: sell tickets to the auction, sell refreshments, “man” the AAC booth and to check to see that the park remains presentable throughout the event.  

Ø      All spaces need to be left clean of any debris at the end of the day.
